rail trail flatbread co. is helping their customers spread love on valentine’s day with flatbreads and poems

the hudson-based restaurant is launching its third-annual valentine’s day event of selling heart-shaped flatbreads with poems attached from local second graders at camela a. farley elementary school.

“we definitely want to always include the community in whatever we try and do,” manager anastasios vitsas told masslive. “it’s a great feeling to see them get so excited.”

the heart-shaped flatbreads can be ordered in two flavors — cheese and pepperoni. attached to each flatbread ordered will be one poem from local second graders.

they are currently available for pre-order and can be picked up on feb. 14 at the restaurant. the offer will only take place on valentine’s day.

the notes from second graders will also be placed in frames for the restaurants tables so dine-in guests can enjoy the sweet words as well, vitsas said.
