first responders eat free

april 22nd we will be hosting a first responders appreciation day. first responders eat free anytime of day on monday, april 22nd. we our team wants to thank you with a nice meal cooked from the heart. excludes alcohol (however we will have plenty of cold beers and refreshing beverages for you to enjoy alongside your free meal!)

hudson artfest and 5k run on Saturday May 4th

we are stoked for the return of hudson’s artsfest. this will be the second annual artsfest for downtown hudson massachusetts. the festival will feature local artists, crafts and creative vendors from massachusetts. main street will be packed with a community of creatives celebrating music and art! we can’t wait! there will be plenty of artmaking to engage both adults and children alike—last year we loved the chalkboard art that we saw people creating! there will be lots of music and entertainment as well!

Open Door Theatre presents The Little Mermaid from March 29-April 7

we get super nostalgic when we think about the little mermaid! the movie just celebrated thirty years (wut). open door theatre, has also been running for over thirty years! open door has been committed to providing an accessible theater experience for families and the community and is located in acton, ma. the shows include a community cast and has a sensory friendly show along with an audio-described show.

Flatbreads for a Cause

when the warmer weather picks —so does our community of flatbreads for a cause benefit nights! we support our community in fundraising efforts for everything from running 5k to raising funds for walks and charitable missions near and dear to the heart.

we will be kicking off the spring season of flatbreads for a cause on march 25th from 4-10pm an event put together by lauren sullivan to benefit cradles to crayons. the event is to support hudson reside3nt and team cradles to crayons boston marathon 2019 charity runner lauren sullivan. a portion of all flatbreads sold from 4-10pm will go directly to cradles to crayons.

spring bling at serendipity

spring is packed with amazing craft classes at our friend laurie’s shop, serendipity! there are plenty of options for beginners and experts alike! we love that she offers family friendly and kid classes too! we spotted classes like spring floral centerpieces, easter necklaces for kids and kids sculpting. for a full list of workshops view here: https://www.serendipityinhudson.com/upcoming-workshops

csa time!

there are quite a few great pick up spots in our own little hudson! we have also expanded this list to include some of our teams favorite farms.

crose nest, one of our sweet neighbors is a pick-up spot for muddy river herbals csa! there are different options that range from an herbalist share to culinary share for both family and students!

harvey’s farm opens on march 28th and we are over the moon! harvey’s is one of our favorite places to pick up fresh tomatoes, browse the adorable gift shop and say hello to our friends. this family run business has been serving our area for six generations! it’s a joy to come here and pick up our fresh delivery. more information about harvey’s farm csa available here: https://www.harveysfarm.com/our-csa-program

new city microcreamery birthday party

new city microcreamery will be hosting their annual birthday party on sunday may 19th. how is our baby sis already four years old? time goes by so quickly…they grow up so fast :)

the party is packed to the brim with fun and tons of ice cream! new city microcreamery does have the best ice cream in massachusetts and we think it is the best in the world! we love celebrating this special day with our friends. look for updates on a full list of entertainment and activities for this special event on new city microcreamery’s facebook and instagram page!

less than greater than events

less than greater than is hosting monthly events at the speakeasy across the street! events are often ticketed and include a variety of special nights like multi-course dinners, wine dinners, cocktail classes and more. also keep an eye out for the annual metrowest aperitivo cocktail invitational! the date will be released soon on less than greater than’s social media. it is the metrowests premier cocktail competition! four bartenders throw down original creations and guests get to be part of the judging along with enjoying chef tom kepner and teams amazing small bites.

bonus: mark your calendars for teachers eat free day

june 3rd we will be hosting our community of educators, daycare providers, teachers, school committee members, cafeteria workers, teachers aids — we want to celebrate all that you to do enrich the lives of the youth in our community. teachers eat free on june 3rd excludes alcohol.
