haberdash has a little something for everyone. this quaint shop began as an online vintage store in 2005, turned into a “fashion truck” around 2009 and has now blossomed into a stationery store. haberdash sells handmade items made by local artists such as home gifts, women and infant clothing and jewelry. here, you will find the perfect ring holder or even a gorgeous top. this is the perfect shop to stop in to find a holiday gift for a daughter, niece or best friend.
mullahy’s artisan cheese
mullahy’s is an artisan cheese and specialty food shop that offers over 66 seasonal cheeses at a time. the variety of cheeses ranging from imported campo de montalban to domestic robinson farm – arpeggio. among the various cheese offerings, the shop also has crackers, jams, pickles, and delicious nuts to complete the perfect cheese platter. mullahy’s now has beer and wine!

this adorable shop next to our restaurant is the perfect place to get a unique gift for that special someone. crose nest features loads of local artisans, jewelry, candles, ceramics and tea (we love the ceramic colanders, mugs and little dishes that are very on-trend this year). handmade sipping kits for infusing your favorite spirits like whiskey or gin. the shop also has a beautiful selection of plants, succulents and pots. there are even stations for you to make spa treatments, face masks, teas and bath potions, perfectly thoughtful gifts for your loved ones. be sure to ask about the treasures you find…each one has a thoughtful story behind it! like the limited edition blend of winter tea that crose nest hand harvested and it is made with 100% locally grown massachusetts ingredients!

snow tubing is one of those activities that is truly fun for all ages! nashoba valley tubing park in westward, ma is one of the largest parks in new england and located only 20 minutes from us. we ourselves have a staff outing planned here this winter and simply can’t wait to start flying down those hills!
the butterfly place
if braving the cold down the slopes isn’t for you, the butterfly place located in westford, ma may be more your style. escape the winter months in their heated butterfly sanctuary as you marvel at the beauty of both new england and tropical butterfly species from all over the world.

earth & aerial yoga
earth and aerial yoga is a unique yoga studio concept located at the landing on broad street in hudson. the studio offers both aerial yoga and traditional yoga classes along with workshops inside a gorgeous, bright, modern space, overlooking the assabet river rail trail and downtown hudson, ma. the studio has a spacious private room for gatherings and private classes. there are some great specials for new students too and it would make for a fun experience gift, which we are all for!
serendipity
this quirky and vibrant shop is located right on main street. the shop supports our local artists in town and is the place to go if you want to give back to our community and get a really creative and unique gift. we recently picked up a few handmade teddy bears that a sweet 93 year old woman lovingly knitted. we also loved the art by a resident artist that showcased watercolor paintings of cupcakes, ice cream and food; all proceeds go towards food for the hungry—oh, and the artist is only 9 years old! there is a story behind each creator and lori and her team are there to help guide you to the perfect gift.

what better gift than the gift of relaxation. synergy wellness center is located in downtown hudson. the center offers a little bit of everything. according to their website, synergy offers countless services that they customize to each customer’s individual needs. this includes acupuncture, massage therapy, reflexology, yoga, energy healing, mental health counseling, life coaching, nutritional counseling, essential oils, speech/language consultations, inspiring workshops, and corporate wellness programs.
ground effect brewing company
making their debut to downtown hudson exactly one year ago, their mission, “we are dedicated to making great tasting beer in a welcoming environment” says it all. their team members are knowledgeable, extremely passionate and welcome you in with open arms. they have rotating food trucks and live music on fridays and saturdays, making this spot one of our favorites and guaranteed to be a good time all around!
nashoba valley winery
nashoba valley winery is a gorgeous, family-owned, hilltop orchard in bolton. the grounds have tons of activities and products to offer. from the orchard, winery, brewery and restaurant, 52 rolling acres, a “state-of-the art wine-making, and distillation facility”, a wine and gift shoppe, a brewery, and an exceptional restaurant. this is the perfect place to start finding some of your holiday gifts for loved ones. give the gift of a wine tour where your friends can spend the day at this beautiful estate.
sawyer’s bowladrome
this hidden gem first opened in 1953 and looks the same now as it did then; which is why we find it so charming! make it out to sawyers, located in northborough, ma, half way between hudson and worcester (where candlepin bowling originated in 1888) and take a trip back in time. nostalgia is sure to set in once you arrive to this one of a kind, family owned and operated, fixture of northborough, sawyers bowladrome.
bullfinchs restaurant
there’s something special about the combination of eating good food while listening to some good music. sunday mornings at bullfinches are for just that! when were not working our own brunch at rail trail, we love to head over their for a little sunday funday brunch with live music.
the strand
the strand theatre is one of the oldest movie theatres in the area of central massachusetts, locally owned and operated. inside the historic theatre, there is a signature marquee, cinema pub and grill, state of the art sound system, and live comedy. enjoy the movie while sipping a glass of red and reclining back in some of the most comfortable velvet chairs. on average about a 25$ gift card will cover the tickets and dinner combined. pick up a gift certificate for a couple and let them experience the old-time theatre and live performances.
